2. Write thank-you notes... Graduation, Christmas, and my birthday have come and gone, and I have yet to send a thanks for the love.
3. Master at least one song on the Uke. (This might or might not have everything to do with watching Josh Garrel's/Mason Jar Music film/documentary last night, The Sea In Between. Please, someone, whisk me away to an island in the Pacific Northwest to make beautiful music.)
Viator Coffee Roasters & Coffeehouse is a dream of mine that is just starting taking shape. Just this past week I finished creating a new logo made up entirely of coffee related icons. Once each individual icon was complete, I began the work of crafting the "V." After making many changes to the icons as well as the logo itself, I am happy to present a finished product!
Here are 12 of the 15 icons included within the "V."
The more I visit Portland the more I'd feel as though I'd rather stay than leave. This last visit, I met quite a few artists from the area who share their music as a gift to any listening ear. These folks craft excellent music and I would like to pass that music on to you. While this music is a gift, I would encourage you to consider supporting these artists and their ministry by donating or buying merch! I hope you enjoy their music as much as I do.
Door of Hope Church and Deeper Well Recordings: A Gospel Collective
The Deeper well collective primarily consists of artists who meet with Door of Hope Church in Portland, OR. It is great to hear music from people who do not only create art; but worship together as well.

Last night, we went to the Steam Plant Grill downtown. I loved everything about it. The food was delicious, obviously (beer cheese soup pictured below), but the restaurant was in an old steam plant, so we got to walk around and explore the old architecture. Dream come true!! (The bottom right photo was taken standing in the bottom of a smoke/steam stack... kind of creepy).
As much as we loved the food, we only at half of it so that we would have room for ice cream on the way home.
Priorities, people.
Here's to eating well and learning some of your city's history!
